Documentation Intro
Welcome to Sanskrit Voyager, a web application to explore the Sanskrit literature.
The application was made with the following two goals:
- making the original Sanskrit texts accessible to interested readers with no knowledge of the language;
- creating digital tools that can be used by researchers to explore the literature more easily.
You can start reading, or you can try the application directly.
The website and the documentation are still in beta. If you find any bug or problems, please report them

- Dictionary Search: transliteration, inflection and sandhi insentive multi dictionary search.
- Text Analysis Tool: transliterate and add access interactive analysis on your text by clicking on words.
- Book Reader: explore interactively the Gretil and Sarit book libraries.
- Corpus Search: search in the corpus of the Sanskrit literature.
- Process-Sanskrit Library: Documentation for the underlying Python library for text processing.
